We’ve always used and sold genuine VW Rear brake back plates, because even though they’re quite expensive they fit and theyre very well made!
Especially when compared to some out there that claim to be “good quality”
We came across these and decided to give them a try.
Theyre painted black unlike the VW parts which are galvanised, and slightly lighter (thinner) but other than that they seem very well made. Only slight downside is the locating dowel is very tight. A small price to pay for such a large saving.
Theyre not OE, we doubt they’ll last as long as OE, but we’re not pretending they are. They are just a decent quality alternative at a third of the price.
