Aftermarket tailgate strut for earlier VW T4 models.
There are a lot of variants of tailgate struts so sit tight!
Firstly there are “Early” and “Late” versions.
- Early, fitted up to chassis number VW1 ZZZ 70Z NH 154 781, end of 1992 Model Year, these are approx 570mm long.
- Late, fitted from chassis number VW1 ZZZ 70Z NH 154 782, Start of 1993 Model Year, the are approx 686mm long.
Then there are 4 different strengths dependent on equipment fitted to the vehicle.

This product is “Early” and as there are very few of these early T4 models on the road we have decided to simply stock the strongest variant at 910mm.
