Details

Oil pressure switch – general VW use.

  • Normally closed, for normal oil light (blue wire)
  • Switching pressure – .25 bar (3.68 psi)
  • M10x1 straight thread.
  • 24mm head.
  • 6.3mm spade terminal.

Made by the OE manufacturer to VW, FEP.

Please note that the switching pressures for these switches is given for identification purposes.
Its impossible for a mechanical switch to switch at exactly the same pressure at the full range of temperatures it’s designed to operate in, so some manufacturers specify a range.
This is no different from the original switches and if you are looking for a switch that operates at the same exact pressure in all scenarios, you wont find one… it is not necessary for this application.
