Details

Stainless steel braided teflon hose with stainless fittings for adding a oil pressure sender to the 2.0l Aircooled engine, supplied with P-clip and stand off to stop the sender wobbling around.

Works with M10x1.0 oil pressure senders, please see related items for a suitable sender that will operate both the light on the dash and the gauge.

Simple instalation

  • Remove the left hand rear most tinware/airbox mounting screw and replacing with the stand off (see green screw in gallery pics) and tighten to 10Nm.
  • Remove original oil pressure switch.
  • Screw in extension hose and tighten.
  • Replace rubber oil pressure switch boot (Important, if missing please replace or cooling air will escape through the hole, see related items)
  • Fix oil pressure sender with P-clip to stand off.
  • Connect original oil pressure warning light wire to terminal marked “WK” on VDO pressure sender.
  • Terminal marked “G” is the connection for the gauge.
