The big bolt for the bottom of the front damper on T4 models up to 31st Dec 1995 / VIN WV2 ZZZ 70 Z T H 199 00

This is an aftermarket alternative to the genuine VW item that’s now no longer available.

In typical VW fashion they used a none-standard length bolt so we could either have these made at great expense or just buy the nearest available standard length at sensible money and that’s what this is.

This bolt is 5mm longer than standard however that means you can use a proper self locking nut rather than the plain nut that VW used. We put a washer in the related items products that will also take some of the extra length up.
