Correct sized core plug for VW Diesel engines.
These are an uncommon size, 36.6mm and not usually available from motor factors.
Now, weird bit of cataloguing on VW’s part here.
There are 2 parts numbers for a 36.6mm core plug, 059 103 113 seems to be fitted to earlier engines and 036 103 113 A seems to fit later engines, there is no set date changes from one to the other.
Now, the aftermarket suppliers of this part say that their part crosses over and fits both VW references, they are afterall only a 36.6mm core plug.
