Details

A Complete new driveshaft built with GKN components.

Rear, Left or Right.

Brand new, outright, no exchange.

Also fits T3 Syncro rear.

Fitted to all watercooled models from chassis number: D_000001 (August 1982)

Does NOT include bolts or washers.

A brief note on these complete replacement shafts…
GKN/Löbro in their wisdom use a different spline on the actual shafts on these to that of the original VW.
Not a problem as you’re replacing the complete shaft anyway but what it does mean is that once you’ve changed to these you can only ever replace the complete shaft in the future because… they don’t sell these joints seperately!
We get it, changing joints is a messy unpleasant job, and especially if you’re stranded somewhere just swapping a shaft is easier, just be aware the once you’ve swapped to these you can’t easily go back unless you keep your original shafts.

PART ORIENTATION

If a part is described as being “Left” or “Right” it means on which side of the vehicle the part is to be fitted in relation to being sat in the vehicle facing forwards.

DELIVERY
