Details
A complete set of stainless steel hardware (except the spire clips which we’ve not found in Stainless) for attaching the T3 GRP bumpers together and to the van. Bumper irons not included.
Set to include the follwing parts (dependent on current stock levels)
- Bumper to body brackets (x2)
- Lower brackets (x2)
- Lower brackets with threads (x2)
- Rubber packing pieces (x4)
- Set Screw – M8x12 (x4) – No. 4 in the diagram, 2 go through the top of the bumper iron into the bumper itself, 4 go through the bigger of the side brackets into the bumper, used with wavy washers.
- Wavy Washer – M8 (x6) – No. 5 in the diagram – To be used with the above M8x12 set screws.
- Set Screw – M8x22 (x2) – No. 6 in the diagram – To attach the centre part of the bumper into the bumper iron from the bottom, to be used with washer No.7 in diagram (product below)
- Washer – M8, 20mm OD (x8) – No. 7 in the diagram – For the 2 bottom rear screws and also 3 per side for attaching the end caps to the centre parts of the bumper.
- Set Screw – M8x25 (x6) – No. 9 in the diagram – For attaching the end caps to the centre section of the bumper, use with washers above.
- Set Screw – M8x16 (x4) – No. 12 in the diagram – For attaching the 2 small L-shaped brackets together and also the L-shaped bracket to the larger mounting bracket, this connection uses the washer below.
- Washer – M8, 24mm OD (x2) – No. 13 in the diagram – for the screws above where the small L shaped bracket attaches to the larger outer bracket.
- Spire clip (speed clip) 6.3mm (x4) – No. 15 in the diagram – to clip on to the bodywork tabs on the rear lower corners, sorry these are mild steel and not stainless.
- Self tapping screw – 6.3×13 (x4) – no. 16 in the diagram – for attaching the L shaped bracket to the rear lower corner of the bodywork.
- Set Screw – M8x18 (x2) – for use with the 33mm OD washer, goes through the hole in the rear lower corner and in to the larger bumper bracket.
- Washer – M8, 33mm OD (x2) – for use with the screws above, for the connection between the larger bumper bracket through the large hole in the rear lower corner.
There is a lot of text on this page to save us having to write instructions as to why there are so many different size screws and washers in the kit!
Why VW used to so many none standard washers is beyond us! All washers above are the correct sizes and some we’ve had to have made to complete this kit.
As this is a kit of parts populated from other items on the webshop then if the kit is ordered only the parts that are in stock will be added to the basket, paid for and delivered.
Any parts not in stock will not be paid for, sent or back ordered.
Any parts not required can be removed from the kit by simply setting the quantity in the list below to zero.
