Details
A set of parts to replace the often broken plastic auxiliary water pump bracket on VW T3 with 1.6TD “JX” engines.
Kit to include.
- Bracket
- 2x P-clips.
- 3x cap head screws.
- 3x form A washers
- 1x form C washer
- 1x nyloc nut
Bracket clips into the original mountings and is bolted into place on the lower mounting.
Yes, it’s metal not plastic like the original so you may have a little more noise transfer when the pump runs but as they seldom run anyway this shouldn’t be of concern and to be honest, knowing that it’s working is probably a good thing!
All parts are stainless so it’s a good idea to use some grease on the threads of the mounting hardware to stop galling.
