Details

On a VW T3 Syncro there are 2 distinct fort suspension types and as such the anti roll bar drop links change between the different types.

  • Early front suspension has pressed steel front lower suspension arms. This system is fitted up to VIN: WV2 ZZZ (24/25) Z K G 048 497 which is mid November 1988 (in the 1989 model year) These drop links are ambidextrous meaning the same part is fitted to the left and the right of the vehicle.
  • Late front suspension has cast front lower suspension arms. This system is fitted from to VIN: WV2 ZZZ (24/25) Z K G 048 498 which is mid November 1988 (in the 1989 model year) These drop links are handed and a different part is required for the left and right hand sides.

This page is for a T3 Syncro drop link fitted up to 11/’88 and will fit either side of the vehicle, 2 are required per vehicle.
