Outright, not an exchange unit. Hella Core Free range.

A general note on buying alternators.

Alternators can be a pain, the same alternator could be fitted to a myriad of different vehicles but fitted with different pulleys to suit their application. As time has gone on, alternator suppliers have rationalised their stock, what’s the point in stocking 17 different alternators when one will do but we’ll ship it with a random pulley… And we thinks that’s what’s happened.

Alternators for a T3 could be the same unit as fitted to a Golf, a Passat, an Audi 80 etc, the only difference is the pulley it’s fitted with.

This is a note for you to inspect what you have, what you recieve from us and if you need to swap the pulley for the original and check the belt alignment.

Purchase of an alternator from us is acceptance you’ve read this and are quite prepared to swap the pulleys over if required.

PART ORIENTATION

If a part is described as being “Left” or “Right” it means on which side of the vehicle the part is to be fitted in relation to being sat in the vehicle facing forwards.

DELIVERY
